Gone are the days when wrinkles used to appear after the age of 40, now a day the increasing pollution and harsh sunrays damage the skin and rob off it natural beauty and glow. The fine lines appear and turn to wrinkles, to do away with this problem, the first and the foremost thing should be to use a sun block with SPF 15 or higher.

Even what you eat makes a lot of difference. The intake of right kind of food will definitely help you fight against aging process. Include anti aging food groups in your daily diet and experience the difference. Body needs selenium which is an essential factor for making an important enzyme, glutathione that cleans up free radicals present in cigarette smoke and air.

It is present in Multigrain bread, muesli, shrimps and sunflower seeds.  Elements like beta-carotene present in sweet potato, Luetin present in Spinach and Lycopene present in tomatoes act as antioxidants effective in reflecting harmful UV rays. One of the important elements of antioxidants, anthocyanins is present in blueberries, blackberries, grapes and cherries supply nutrients to the skin.

Proteins and Omega 3 oils regenerate collagen and elastin that helps in keeping the skin supple and hydrated. These are available in salmon, mackerel, sardines herrings, lean beef, wheat germ and Crabs. The traces of Copper helps in making melanin and fight against spots, it is richly present in Soya milk, beans sprouts, Yogurt, whole grain cereals and lentils. Also take pitta and gogi berries in your diet. Eat lots of vegetables and drink at least two liters of water everyday and nourish your skin.
